libsecure.so is the re-incarnation of many projects surrounding communication platforms, the community has diverged, matured and otherwise evolved into a new class of Developers, Systems Administrators, Technical Architects and Security Analysts- libsecure hopes to bring more powerful and pervasive secure communication mechanisms for this old and thriving community of people- of whom I'm blessed to be a part of.
Previously, we were multiple communities specialising in certain area's, v60-hackers and darchoods are web frontend 'hackers', and sector5d are mostly backend to low level hardware hackers.. criticalsecurity.net are security enthusiasts and darkscience are interested in privacy and communications -- I feel this banding of special cases in technology will give each of us, new insight and an unprecedented access to knowledge that would otherwise be impossible.
We will be launching with a forum, which hopefully will be good for long standing engagement- we will roll out invites to those on IRC first, then once we've fixed any bugs or problems and created some content (and gathered a theme) we'll invite our mailing list: you will then have the ability to invite other people, but I'd like to keep it close knit for now. -- after a few months we will open publicly. Your continued patronage is what makes us as a community strong, and I thank you for your support. |_|0|_|
Once we're happy, we'll start rolling out a secure email system built on PGP, alongside that we'll be developing BBS style software to interact with the forum using SSH.
Your continued patronage is what makes us as a community strong, and I thank you for your support.
